Services are provided to people at every stage of life – individuals, couples, families, children, adolescents and senior citizens – regardless of disability, ethnicity, gender, religion or sexual orientation.
Fees
The fees at FirstStep Counseling are in line with community standards.
Your health insurance may cover all or a portion of the cost of counseling. FirstStep will assist you in determining what benefits you have through your insurance, including co-pays, number of sessions covered and deductibles. Please see our Insurance area for more information
If you are experiencing financial difficulties or are uninsured, please ask us about the FirstStep Foundation for possible assistance with counseling fees.

A Spanish speaking therapist is available to provide therapy directly to clients without the needs for a third party interpreter. This enhances the therapy experience for clients who speak Spanish as their first language. FirstStep’s bilingual therapist is Valerie Vazquez, LMSW at the Wichita office.
